ClearCorrect braces use transparent plastic aligners to straighten teeth. Over the course of treatment, the teeth move into their proper positions as they are pushed into the aligners by biting action. Here is more about how this treatment moves the teeth.
Overview of How ClearCorrect Works
Patients who choose ClearCorrect receive four phases of treatment, during which they wear their aligners constantly, excluding during meals and oral hygiene routines. With progression through the series of aligners, the teeth increasingly resemble the formation planned at the start of treatment. At appointments along the way, patients are examined to ensure that treatment is moving forward as planned.
Basic ClearCorrect Process
This treatment begins with an exam, during which our dentist determines whether patients are candidates. Most common bite irregularities, such as underbite, overbite, overcrowding, and improper tooth rotation, can be addressed with ClearCorrect. Next, bite impressions, X-rays, and photographs are taken and used to create the set of aligners. Patients then return to receive their first aligners and begin treatment, which generally takes between one and two years.
Most adults and teens are candidates for ClearCorrect. Once treatment is complete, patients receive retainers to wear on a specified basis. Patients can schedule a consultation with our expert in
